Kristen’s interest in dance began at the age of four. She has competed with Starstruck from the ages of 12-19 and began teaching at Starstruck after graduating from high school and is in her fourth year teaching at Starstruck.
In her years of training at Starstruck, Kristen attended numerous conventions each year while also traveling to Los Angeles, California to train at the EDGE Performing Arts Center. Kristen has also trained with members of the River North Chicago Dance Company. She has performed with Erin Novak’s dance company, Seamless Dance Theater, around the metropolitan area and also in Los Angeles, California. Kristen graduated with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance at the University of Missouri in Kansas City, and she continues to train and perform with numerous choreographers and dancers around the Kansas City area. Kristen enjoys sharing what she has learned with her love of dance with the wonderful students she has been blessed to teach. |
